U.S.S. Hornet Photo Shoot

Recently, Bill Lonero had an opportunity to do a after hours photo shoot on the historic U.S.S. Hornet aircraft carrier. The Hornet is famous for being the recovery ship for the Apollo 11 mission that took the first men to walk on the moon. Hornet also recovered Apollo 12 and served in WWII and the Vietnam war. It is also one of the most decorated Naval ships of all time.

Bill and photographer Paul Ferradas along with the C.O.O. of the Hornet had the entire ship to themselves all night. The shoot was epic! Not only because of the history of the ship but because of the view overlooking the San Francisco bay at midnight. Enjoy these pics and stay tuned for a very special announcement.
